Wood Based Panel Resins
For the reconstituted wood panels industry, MDF, MDP and OSB resins are developed according to the specific needs of each customer. These resins are manufactured with the latest technology available worldwide. GPC Química is capable to produce resins for particulate wood-based panels with low emission of formaldehyde and with a good reactivity, enhancing the performance in work streamline.
MDP
We feature resins for the manufacture of a MDP range set of formaldehyde emission ratings. Urea-formaldehyde and melamine formaldehyde resins for the manufacture of standard based panels, resistant to swelling, hydro-resistant, flooring, among others. Our resins are compatible with a range of size systems available in the industry.
MDF
MDF resins from GPC Química enables the manufacture of panels with an excellent line performance and customization according to compatible formaldehyde emission standards. Urea-formaldehyde and melamine formaldehyde resins for the manufacture of standard based panels, resistant to swelling, hydro-resistant, flooring, among others.
OSB
It is a special phenolic resin category for OSB external layer manufacturing. Indicated for the manufacture of panels which require a high dimensional stability (dry or wet). It renders excellent performance of linear expansion of panels manufactured with such resin. It can be tailor-made with specific features in order to meet customers' demands.
Plywood Resins
For the plywood industry, there are three types of resins manufactured: Resinova, Resimed, Residur, differentiated formaldehyde emissions and applications.
Resinova
Standard urea-formaldehyde with high formaldehyde emission. Proper for bonding plywood furniture bonding, boxwood, veneer jointing, finger joints, paper collage, among others.
FISPQResimed
Urea-formaldehyde with medium formaldehyde emission. Proper for bonding of various wood-based materials, plywood, veneer and doors.
FISPQResidur
Alkaline phenolic resin. Engineered to produce marine or waterproof plywood sheets, concrete molds or structural panels for double-wide houses. The bonding lines feature a high resistance and are immune to microorganisms.
